Tonight, Sidney Barnes, former member of The Rotary Connection, and a contributor to the music of George Clinton, The Shangri Las, Minnie Ripperton, the Big Ol’ Nasty Getdown and more, will be making his comeback at the new and buzzin’ One Stop Deli& Bar in Asheville, NC, the mountainous city where the artist has been enjoying a quiet life with his family while working on his first major project in many years.
He will be playing with popular Asheville Band The Secret B-Sides, who have been growing their following with live album ‘Live on the Mothership’ and newly released “Flowers & Chocolates.” Asheville is a small, tight-knit community, and the pairing is proper for delight. We look forward to some footage from the great folks at the One Stop to share with you soon.
